As a senior research analyst, Tommy Sternberg conducts top-down and fundamental analysis of US health care companies. Drawing on more than 20 years of investment industry experience, his primary responsibilities include monitoring positions, generating new ideas, preparing research reports, and making portfolio recommendations to the co-portfolio managers. Prior to joining Calamos in 2025, Tommy was a research analyst and partner at William Blair Investment Management, where he served as the lead health care sector analyst across global strategies. He holds a BS degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Tommy also serves as Board Member of Tutoring Chicago, a nonprofit serving more than 1,300 economically disadvantaged students.
