Kevin Newstead

Senior Research Analyst

As a senior research analyst Kevin is focused on the more operational aspects of the Market Neutral Income and Hedged Equity strategies. This includes tracking current and future corporate actions, reviewing prospectuses and issuer filings, and related activities. Kevin has more than 20 years of industry experience and has been with Calamos for more than five years. Prior to returning to Calamos in 2023, he managed the voluntary corporate actions team at Citadel and previously was an operational monitoring and risk manager at Aon. His prior experience includes senior corporate actions positions at Citadel and earlier in his career, Kevin was a junior risk analyst at Calamos. He received a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois and holds his FINRA Series 99 license.
