Senior Vice President, Senior Research Analyst

Jay Stewart is a member of the Calamos Global Equity Team, where he conducts top-down and fundamental research and makes portfolio recommendations to the co-portfolio managers. Jay leads the team's coverage of several key investment themes, including geopolitical realignment and sovereignty, intelligent machines and AI infrastructure, and the energy transition and power infrastructure, and contributes expertise in global industrials, defense, energy, and materials. He has published thought leadership on topics ranging from Europe's defense spending inflection to the energy transition's impact on traditional commodities and global aerospace. Jay joined the firm in 2012 and has over 20 years of industry experience, including tenures at PNC Wealth Management and National City Bank. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Accounting, Economics, and International Business.
