William J. Takahashi

Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Human Resources

Bill Takahashi is the Chief Administrative Officer, Head of Human Resources and member of the executive team at Calamos Investments. Bill is responsible for all aspects of human capital within Calamos Investments and its operating companies. He plays a crucial role in driving organizational performance and administrative efficiency. Bill also chairs the firm’s 401(k) committee and oversees the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. He joined Calamos in 2005 and has over 20 years of legal and human resources leadership experience. Prior to joining Calamos, he was in-house counsel at McDonald’s Corporation and an attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and maintains his SHRM human resource professional certification. He received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University.
