Thomas Kiley

Senior Vice President, Chief Distribution Officer

Drawing on more than 30 years of investment industry experience, Tom leads Global Distribution, overseeing the firm’s Intermediary, RIA, Institutional, International and Strategic Partner channels. In this role, Tom is responsible for developing and driving the global distribution strategy, fostering key partnerships and expanding the firm’s market reach.

He joined Calamos in April 2024 from BlackRock, where he worked for nearly two decades and most recently led distribution for the firm’s East Coast RIA segment. In this role and in his other senior management positions at Blackrock, Tom focused on delivering innovative solutions for clients utilizing ETFs, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative strategies. Tom also established programs designed to better understand and support the needs of the RIA community and served on a variety of leadership committees. Prior to joining Blackrock, Tom served at Lord Abbett as a Director, where he pioneered the development of a formal research gatekeeper coverage model, and at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor. Tom began his career on the Corporate Bond Desk at Lehman Brothers.

In his personal life, Tom is a musician with multiple albums on the Vinyl Records label. He has a passion for genealogy and is an avid researcher of his family history. He is a devoted husband and father of five children. He also participates in a variety of volunteer activities.
