Calamos Cares reflects the company’s deep commitment to community service and social impact. Associates regularly engage in meaningful volunteer efforts, including supporting the Northern Illinois Food Bank, organizing holiday toy drives with Toys for Tots, collecting plastic bags for Earth Day, and participating in blood drives or events like the American Heart Association Heart Walk and Lurie Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup.

In 2020, following the lead of our President & CEO John Koudounis, we helped raise a grand total of $1.3 million under the auspices of The Chicago CEO COVID-19 Coalition. John founded the coalition to unite local business leaders in a humanitarian campaign for COVID-19 relief and recovery. 100% of Calamos Investments associates contributed to the campaign and all employee donations were 100% matched by the company.

These initiatives foster a culture of compassion and teamwork, allowing employees to make a tangible difference in the lives of others while strengthening connections within the community.
