As a Wealth Advisor for Calamos Wealth Management, Christina Castrejon works with a broad range of clients - from successful young professionals dealing with aspects of wealth accumulation to retirees, who may be seeking guidance on wealth preservation or generational wealth transfer.
Christina leverages her genuine interest in people and natural ability to cultivate relationships when working with clients. Her goal is to help them achieve financial success to pursue their lives’ passions. She oversees comprehensive wealth management programs, incorporating investment advisory and wealth planning services.
Christina is extremely passionate about empowering women financially, professionally and personally. She is involved with the Chicago Chapter of Step Up, which mentors girls in under-resourced communities, is a member of Ellevate Network, a global professional women’s network committed to inspiring women business leaders and has been a contributing writer to Chicago Woman magazine on the subject.
She is also a mentor for the CFP® Board's WIN-to-WIN program, a volunteer mentoring service provided by current CFP® professionals to encourage younger individuals and members of underrepresented groups, including women, to become an integral part of the profession.
Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as a Certified Financial Planner™ certification. She was named to the 2017 class of Investment News “40 under 40.” She has been with the firm for 13 years.
