John McClenahan, CFA, CPA

Senior Vice President, Head of Risk Management

John McClenahan is a Senior Vice President and the Head of Risk Management. He joined the firm in 2013 and has 20 years of industry experience. His responsibilities include measuring, monitoring and assessing risks within investment portfolios. He has extensive experience in portfolio risk management including design and implementation of systems, processes and models.

Prior to joining Calamos, he worked at Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers in New York. His previous experience includes risk management roles with North Sound Capital and Andor Capital, as well as leading manager due diligence for EnnisKnupp in Chicago.

Mr. McClenahan received a B.A. in Economics and Sociology from Tulane University, as well as an M.B.A. in Finance and a Master of Professional Accounting - Taxation from the University of Washington. He is also a CPA, a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
