Training and Education
Calamos places a high priority on the development of its associates. As an organization we provide quality learning opportunities to support the development of associates and the achievement of the strategic goals and values of the firm. We strive to expand and build associate’s skill set expertise, develop leadership and an execution-driven culture and support continuous learning and the sharing of knowledge across the organization.
New associates will participate in a training program customized to their position which may include classroom training, e-learning, mentoring and/or on-the-job training. These programs are designed to give the new associate the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their role as well and an understanding of Calamos.
Associates are strongly encouraged to continue to develop their knowledge and skills. To support this we emphasize classroom training augmented with computer-based training delivered directly to the associates' desktops. Associates are encouraged to pursue additional industry certifications and designations such as the CFA, CIMA, CMFC, etc. and various levels of support are provided for each of these.
Tuition Reimbursement
The company will assist associates with the payment of tuition and books for approved educational courses and seminars after one year of service with the company.
